SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, physical address, contact number and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer`s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our Brand, new products and other exciting updates and initiatives, we are engaged in.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

HOW DO YOU GET MY CONSENT?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, register on our website, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

HOW DO I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT?

SECTION 4 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the way your personal information will be handled by these providers.

Remember that certain providers may be in or have facilities that are in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So, if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United State legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our store`s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website`s Terms and Conditions.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 5 - SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and store with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

COOKIES

Here is a list of cookies that we use. We`ve listed them here so you can choose if you want to opt- out of cookies or not.

  • Thirtybees - unique token, sessional, Allows Thirtybees to store information about your session (referrer landing page, browser device type, visits, etc).
  • Google Analytics - Unique Session ID for anaymous Data Collection of traffic source, search terms, sessions and session duration, etc
  • Google Recaptcha - Delivering security for contact forms, registrations and account login

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

We want you to be completely satisfied with your final purchase. If the product delivered is different from what you had ordered, you may return the product. All returned products must be unused and in the same condition as received with its original packaging along with original tags.

You may also exchange your product for a different one with the same value. We will accept your return within 14 days of date of delivery.

To initiate your FREE return please email our head office (sales@woodlandafrica.com). Please include your Order Number, the Style Name/Style Code of the item(s), and Quantity being returned in your communication to our Team. Refunds will be issued via EFT within 48 hours of return request. Refunds will only be processed to own name accounts, and no exception will be entered into in this regard.

The following items are not eligible for return, for Hygiene reasons:

  • Socks
  • Caps
  • Laces
  • Belts (if already resized)
  • Golf Shirts (ONLY exchanged for sizing, must be in original packaging, with original tags)
  • Shoe care products (IF already opened)
  • End of Range Sale Items

What if I receive a damaged or defective item?

In the unlikely possibility that the product you have purchased from the Woodland Africa online store is damaged or defective please email our head office (sales@woodlandafrica.com) within 24 hours of receipt of your order, and a replacement product will be issued to you at no additional costs to you.

Products damaged while being used do not qualify for a refund or replacement. However, if you feel that the product is damaged or defective, return the product as it is. We will inspect the product, and where possible we will repair the product at no additional cost to you. In case we are unable to replace the damaged / defective product, we will refund your amount.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

Once you are advised by us that your refund has been processed, please wait for 48 hours for this refund to reflect into your bank account. There is often some processing time before a refund reflects in your account. If after the 48 hours has lapsed, and your refund doesn’t reflect in your account, please contact us at: sales@woodlandafrica.com

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)

We only replace items if they are defective. If you need to exchange a product, please contact us at: sales@woodlandafrica.com and our customer service representative will address the exchange facilitation on a case by case basis.
