Can I ship my order to someone else?

Yes, orders can be shipped to a different address than the billing address. Go the "My Account" section and add any address that you wish to ship to in that section. Before checkout, you’ll have the option to select to which of your saved addresses on your profile you would like your purchase to be delivered to.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders are shipped on business days only (Monday-Friday, excluding Public Holidays). Usually, it takes 4-5 business days to deliver your order, but the time may vary according to courier schedules.

How do I know when my order has been dispatched?

When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking number(s) on your registered email address.

Can I cancel the order placed online?

You may cancel your order by contacting our head office (+27 11 452 0340) if the order has not been shipped. Occasionally we may have to cancel an order or product due to processing reasons. If so, you will be notified via email. You will not be charged for cancelled products.

How can I return or exchange my order?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your final purchase. If the product delivered is different from what you had ordered, you may return the product. All returned products must be unused and in the same condition as received with its original packaging along with original tags.

You may also exchange your product for a different one with the same value. We will accept your return within 14 days of date of delivery.

Refunds will be issued via EFT within 48 hours of return request. Refunds will only be processed to own name accounts, and no exception will be entered into in this regard.

Can I change an item in my order?

It is not possible to make any changes on a completed order. Contact our head off on (+27 11 452 0340) or via email on ( to discuss with our team any changes to be made to completed orders.

What if I receive a damaged or defective item?

In the unlikely possibility that the product you have purchased from the Woodland Africa online store is damaged or defective please email our head office ( within 24 hours of receipt of your order, and a replacement product will be issued to you at no additional costs to you.

Products damaged while being used do not qualify for a refund or replacement. However, if you feel that the product is damaged or defective, return the product as it is. In case we are unable to replace the damaged / defective product, we will refund your amount.

What are the delivery charges?

We offer free shipping for all your purchases over R1000. Should your purchase be less than R1000, R180 delivery charge shall apply.

Can I ship to international addresses?

Currently we are shipping within South Africa ONLY. But, on special request we deliver to the desired address outside South Africa however, the applicable shipping charges based on the volumetric weight of the packet as per the courier partner & the applicable taxes will apply.

How is tax calculated?

Tax is calculated at the applicable VAT rate of 15% and all quoted prices on the online store are inclusive of Vat.


Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via our PayFast payment portal. Through PayFast, you can also make payment via direct EFT.

How to apply a promocode?

During the Summary phase (Step1) of yourcheckoput phase you will be able to input your voucher code to receiove the applicable discount. Once the checkout process has validated your voucher code, you will receive the relevant discount on yrou order total.


How do I update my account and address?

If you already have an account, click the “Login” page located on the top right hand of the screen, and enter your email address and password to login. Go to “My Account” and edit your details.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

In the “Login” page, click on “Forgot my password”. A new window will appear wherein you need to enter your e-mail address and follow the instructions for security purposes. Once done click on “retrieve password”. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address, along with instruction.


Footwear & Leather Accessories

Warranty of 90 days shall apply from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects only, when purchase from or via one of our approved stockists

No warranty against wear & tear, size misfit or discomfort once the product is worn.

NOTE: Our footwear is water resistant not waterproof and slip resistant not slip proof.

Garments & Socks/Caps

15 days warranty against any shrinkage or colour fastness from the date of purchase. Please ensure to follow washing / garment care instructions as stated on the merchandise.

Normal wear & tear due to usage of merchandise does not qualify for warranty claim.


Clean your shoes on a regular basis, depending on frequency of use. The cleaning method depends on the shoe’s material. Leather can be polished and conditioned with a leather lotion applied with a soft cloth. Suede looks best when brushed. Special suede brushes are available to protect the texture.

Use a silicon-based weatherproofing agent to protect your leather footwear. The Woodland Stain Eraser helps to restore and protect the texture of the shoes from stains and keeps them looking like new for a longer period.

Make sure to clean your shoes after use, as mud and dirt can cause fibre decay. When cleaning, remove caked on dirt or stains with a soft brush.

Give your leather shoes a day off. Always keep shoes away from direct heat to prevent the leather from drying out. Leather should always dry naturally. The best technique is to ensure that dry, room temperature air can circulate inside the boots.

Store footwear in a cool, dry place.

Shoe Cleaning

Clean the shoes with a leather cleaner to get the grime off the top. Any type of cleaner that contains an acid or a detergent destroys the natural oils and speeds up the ageing process of the shoe, so make sure you use a non-acid, non-detergent cleaner. When necessary, use saddle soap and water for a better cleaning.

Shoe Conditioning

Condition the leather to soften. While the leather is still slightly moist after a good cleaning, apply a leather conditioner to replace the leather’s natural oils. Set your clean and treated shoes aside for 24 hours to dry. Later, apply polish or wax, and buff to a shine.

What is the best way to polish leather shoes?

Use a paste, cream or wax polish which matches with the colour of your shoes. If using cream, use a comparatively lighter shade to cover the scratches. Cream or Paste polish moisturizes fine leather, keeps it flexible, and soaks into the leather to allow leather to breathe. Wait for at least 10 minutes for the paste or cream to dry before you start with buffing. Use a clean brush– preferably horsehair – and a soft, clean cloth to bring out a high lustre.

How do I weatherproof my shoes?

A protective spray guards your shoes against water, snow, mud, and spills. Wipe the leather with a damp cloth before applying the spray and follow the instructions on the protector spray. Spray your shoes before wearing and on a regular basis thereafter.

What is the best way to take care of Suede and Nubuck shoes?

Suede can be cleaned with a clean, soft brush (like a toothbrush), or you can buy special erasers (suede bars) to remove stains and dirt. Use a steam iron from 10-inches away to raise the nap. Also, special brass-bristle brushes are available to raise the nap after cleaning. You may apply the same process for nubuck shoes. Avoid water contact on suede and nubuck leather shoes.

How to carry shoes on a trip?

When travelling, use shoe bags; this will prevent the soiling from getting in touch with your clothing. If you turn a shoe bag inside out, you can use it as a shoe mitt.
